Wizard finds a home after 6 weeks

One of my last artworks is “Wizard’s Touch”, and it was quite a journey for the wizard to find a home. Starting with a simple photo, I worked for a month in Photoshop to make the wizard magical. He was in a southwestern setting when I presented him to my Sounding Board members. They were quick to point out that his magic was not powerful enough, and they were right. They also had some problems with his setting. I went back to work and boosted his magical power. I also made 2 alternative settings for the wizard, one in snow capped mountains and the other in a forest. The board members liked the more powerful magic, but they were not taken with either of the 2 alternative environments. Back to work, this time in Bryce where I made a seaside environment for him. I presented this to the board, but before they could sound off, the wizard spoke to me. He told me to magically combine 2 of the environments, which I did back in Photoshop. Back to the board, and we all welcomed the wizard home. Many thanks to my Sounding Board members for accompanying me on this magical journey with the wizard.
